The Board of Directors is elected by Homeowners in accordance with the governing documents. The board receives no salary or compensation. It is the role of the board to perform duties outlined in your governing documents. While the Board does not manage the day to day affairs of the community (most board members have full time jobs and family commitments) they do appoint the Managing agent for this purpose. The Board also oversees committees, community activities for the benefit of homeowners, adopts rules as appropriate, and holds hearings when needed.
